The country's media bodies like the Indian Newspaper Society and the Digital News Publishers Association have demanded the government to ban Chinese websites in the country as well. In addition, he has also suggested that the agreement and investment made by China in Indian companies should also be scrapped.

In a letter to the government, the president of the Indian Newspaper Society, Shalesh Gupta said that the Chinese government's decision to ban the use of Indian newspapers and media websites is unfair. However, China has now used a firewall through advance technology, which can no longer reach these sites through virtual private networks.

At this time, we should treat India's security, sovereignty as a top priority, says Pawan Agarwal, chairman of the Digital News Publishers Association.  It may be recalled that on the next day of the ban on 59 Chinese apps by the Government of India, China has banned the use of Indian newspapers and websites in its country, while China's websites are being accessed in India.

Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)  Chairman MP Mallal said that trains have been shut down since March. We haven't abruptly terminated the services of contracted employees. We have taken this decision at a time when the industry is slowly getting back on track so that they don't have difficulty finding jobs elsewhere.

Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has shown its way out to more than 500 contractual employees.

IRCTC says the department does not need these employees in the present situation.

"The lockdown has also affected irctc revenue, a senior IRCTC official said, according to an Indian Express report. This is zero since the lockdown. It was difficult to hire catering supervisors, but the corporation is spending Rs 1.25 crore every month, he said.

Irctc, in a letter issued on June 25, notified kolkata, Mumbai in the west Secunderabad in south central and Chennai in the south, and chennai in the south, it has been decided that under the existing circumstances, it has been decided that catering supervisors placed on contract are no longer required. These employees are being issued one month's notice and their services are being terminated.

We are getting calls from the zonal office asking us to come to the office and sign the termination letter, said a supervisor posted in South Central Zone, who asked not to disclose the identity. When we asked for the reason for terminating the services, we were told that they were only following the orders of the corporate office, he said.

These employees were placed on a two-year contract. There is a clause in the contract stating that they can be removed on a month's notice only if their performance is not satisfactory.

Many catering supervisors say their performance is not bad at all. At a time when many railway employees were at home. We have distributed food to labour special trains and worked round the clock.

Given our efforts while running labour special trains, get some rewards but we are being removed by giving termination letters says Surbh Nagar, a supervisor in South Zone.

Another supervisor, Akanksha Dutta, said, We were not informed about this decision. We received a letter from the corporate office in Delhi on June 25, after which we were issued termination letter on June 26,

Trains have been closed since March but we have not abruptly terminated the services of contracted staff," irctc chairman and managing director MP Mallal said. We have taken this decision at a time when the industry is slowly getting back on track so that they don't have difficulty finding jobs elsewhere. All the terms of the contract have been complied with.

IRCTC officials say that supervisors will be hired on a large scale whenever required, but their work is being entrusted to these house staff of the railways.

IRCTC had appointed about 560 catering supervisors in 2018 to check the quality of food served by contractors in trains.

The job of catering supervisors was to oversee the preparation of food in trains, check quality, address passenger complaints and ensure that no more money is charged than the fixed price for food.

An IRCTC spokesperson indicated that the decision was being reconsidered.

IRCTC spokesperson Siddharth Singh said, "We are reconsidering the matter. We're considering whether this decision might be revisited. Some steps will be taken in this regard.

Meanwhile, the suspended employees have spoken to railway minister Piyush Goyal through social media seeking intervention.

Irctc services have been badly affected by the lockdown imposed in the wake of corona virus.

At present, railway workers are running 230 special trains besides special trains. All regular passenger services are suspended since March 23.

In addition, the government said that India has to give details of those travelling to Pakistan a week in advance. The current situation may be disturbed. This would only violate the bilateral agreement. The Government of India will take a further decision by talking to health authorities and concerned.

Earlier, Pakistan had said that it would open the Kartarpur Sahib corridor for Sikh devotees from June 29. This information was tweeted by Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Saturday. He said june 29 is the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Pak wants to open the corridor from this day. In fact, Pakistan had decided to close the Kartarpur Sahib corridor on March 16 in view of the growing threat of corona virus in India. It was first closed until March 31. But later Pak decided to keep it closed indefinitely.

The distance from Lahore to Kartarpur Sahib is 120 kms. It is about 7 kms away from the Indian border in Gurdaspur area. The governments of India and Pakistan had decided to build corridors to connect Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur and the Holy Gurudwara in Kartarpur, Pakistan.

The foundation of kartarpur corridor was laid in 2018. The foundation stone was laid in India on November 26 and in Pakistan on November 28. It was then dedicated to the public on 9th November 2019 on the prakhotsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

He said that the entire country is bowing down to the gallantry of our brave jawans who have been martyred in Ladakh. He said that like the families of the Jawans, every Indian country is experiencing the pain of losing its soldiers.

Kundan's father was saying that he would also send his ships to the army to protect the country. Prasar Bharati threatens to cancel PTI's subscription : The Report

News agency PTI had tweeted a statement by Indian Ambassador to China Vikram Egyptian on Friday evening, contrary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's claim that China did not infiltrate into India. Public broadcaster Prasar Bharati has since threatened to sever all ties with PTI.

After interviewing the Indian ambassador to China, the official broadcaster Prasar Bharati has called pti a traitor/Anti-National and threatened to sever all ties with him.

Chinese forces need to go back to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, PTI quoted Indian Ambassador to China Vikram Egyptian as saying.

In fact, the Egyptian statement is contrary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's claim that no one rammed into India.

Even after 24 hours, neither Ambassador Vikram Egyptian nor the Ministry of External Affairs have dismissed the veracity of the PTI tweet.

The Egyptian statement has embarrassed the government as it contradicts the prime minister's statement at an all-party meeting last week on the issue of border tensions.

In another PTI tweet, the Egyptian says, "China must stop attempting to encroach on the Indian part of the LAC and to erect structures."

His statement also goes against Modi's claim that China had not infiltrated before.

A PTI tweet from the Indian ambassador to China, which has now been deleted.
A PTI tweet from the Indian ambassador to China, which has now been deleted.

Pti had also tweeted a third tweet which was deleted on Saturday morning. However, neither the Foreign Ministry nor the Egyptians said their statement was misrepresented.

"There is only one solution to the military tension on the LAC and that China should stop building new structures," the Egyptian was quoted as saying by PTI.

However, it seems that a kind of agreement was reached between the Ministry of External Affairs and PTI after the news agency released parts of the interview on Saturday evening, as these specific statements made by the Egyptians were not included in the PTI news.

The government is already angry with PTI over interviewing the Chinese ambassador to India and is preparing to take action against him.

On Saturday, Prasar Bharati officials told reporters that the public broadcaster is sending a strict letter to PTI ahead of its next board meeting, which has sparked deep outrage over anti-national reporting by PTI.

It is not possible to continue relations with PTI due to anti-country reporting authorities

He said public broadcasters have been supporting PTI with huge annual fees running in several crores for decades. At the same time, the news agency has been adamant not to increase its fees since 2016. Prasar Bharati is now reviewing its relationship with PTI in view of PTI's behaviour. The final decision in this regard will be communicated soon.

When asked about the verdict and the reasons for the treasonous, the Prasar Bharati official said, "China coverage."

Asked if it pertains to the interview of two ambassadors conducted by PTI? "Yes," he said.

Earlier this week, leaving behind the rest of the Indian media, PTI interviewed Chinese Ambassador to India Sun Wedong and talked to him about the violent clashes in Galwan, Ladakh.

The Chinese Embassy had submitted a shorter version of the interview on its website but PTI faced controversies over not printing the full interview.

This was also accepted by PTI. The next day, the Foreign Ministry responded to ambassador Sun's statements. Later on Friday, the news agency's Beijing correspondent KJM Verma interviewed the Egyptian.

For the past one week, all indian government spokespersons have been saying that tensions with China are decreasing, military deployments are being reduced and there is no Chinese encroachment.

However, defence affairs journalists have been consistently quoting Indian military sources as saying that China has taken the lead over several parts of the LAC, including Pangong So, Galwan and Depsang.

Lt. Gen. SL Narasimhan, head of the official Chinese think-tank at the Foreign Ministry last Friday, told The Wire that the reports were being misconstrued and exaggerated.

However, the two Egyptian tweets that PTI had run on Twitter don't seem to be the case.

Prasar Bharati's recent attempt to ban PTI is not the first time. Earlier in 2016, the Modi government had asked mk Rajdan, a long-time editor-in-chief of the news agency, to appoint an official nominated member on his retirement.
