World threat from covid-19 is around 1.8 times the number of active cases. In many states, the number of daily discharges from hospitals is more than that of daily admissions.

Covid-19 cases are unequal in distribution in India. “As much as 86% of total active covid-19 cases are confined to just 10 states, while 50% of active cases are in two states, which shows that the spread of covid-19 is not happening uniformly across the country," said Rajesh Bhushan, officer on special duty (OSD), in the health ministry.


As testing is critical in containing the spread, the World Health Organization (WHO) has come out with a document underlining the need for comprehensive surveillance and testing of suspect covid-19 cases, stating that testing 140 people per day per 1 million population would be comprehensive.

“As many as 22 states are doing more than 140 covid-19 tests per day per million. Centre is asking states and Union territories to increase testing so that we proceed towards the guidelines given by the WHO. There were 101 covid-19 RT-PCR testing labs in mid-March, while today there are 1,206 RT-PCR testing labs and 280 rapid antigen testing centres," Bhushan said.

The government has also conducted a sero survey to find the presence of coronavirus among people in containment zones. The ICMR said that at present stratification of data collected for the sero survey in Delhi and its analysis is being done. As many as 22,800 blood samples were collected for this particular sero survey till 5 July.

The health ministry said that the national covid-19 fatality rate is 2.6% and it is coming down.

Leaks are suggesting both Apple and Samsung are preparing to sell smartphones - such as the rumored iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S30 - that don’t come with a charging block or cable in the box.

Instead, these companies are likely to ask you to buy a separate charger or use your existing tech that you already have in your home. This has proved divisive, as with any manufacturer losing a key part of their tech, but I believe this is the right thing to do. Inmy opinion, it's far past the time manufacturers took on more responsibility for the waste that comes from the average person purchasing new technology, and dropping the unnecessary accessories in the box is a bigger step toward curving e-waste than you may expect.

Qualcomm Ventures, the investment arm of Qualcomm Inc., will invest ₹730 crore for a 0.15% stake in Jio Platforms Ltd, becoming the 12th entity to invest in the digital services subsidiary of Reliance Industries (RIL) in over three months.
The deal values Jio Platforms at an equity value of ₹4.91 trillion and an enterprise value of ₹5.16 trillion, RIL said in a statement.

“Qualcomm has been a valued partner for several years and we have a shared vision of connecting everything by building a robust and secure wireless and digital network in India. Qualcomm offers deep technology know-how and insights that will help us deliver on our 5G vision and the digital transformation of India for both people and enterprises," said Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director, RIL.

With this, RIL has sold a total of 25.24% stake in Jio Platforms to Facebook, General Atlantic, TPG, KKR, Silver Lake, L Catterton, Vista Equity Partners, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Mubadala Investment Company, and Public Investment Fund (PIF), Intel Capital and Qualcomm Ventures, raising ₹118,318.45 crore
Jio Platforms has over 388 million subscribers and has significant investments across its digital ecosystem.
It operates a host of digital apps and services, including music streaming service JioSaavn, on-demand live television service JioTV and payments app JioMoney, and smartphones and broadband business.

Surya namaskar consists of 12 physical posture. These alternate forward and backward bending asanas.
Flex and stretch your spinal column and limb through their maximum range.

Breathing technique :

The basic principles of breath in Surya Namaskar is inhalation during backward bending posture due to the expansion of your chest and exhalation during forwarding bending due to compression of your chest and abdomen.

Position 1.
Pranasna:
  • Stand straight with feet together or keep little distance and close the eyes.
  • Place both the palms in front of your chest at heart level.
  • Breath pattern : Normally
Position 2.
Hasth Utthasna:
  • Raise and stretch your both arms above the head with palm face backward.
  • Stretch the whole body 
  • Stretch the whole body as far as back as is comfortably possible and be aware of the curve of the upper back.
  • Breathing pattern: inhale while raising the arm.
Position 3.



Padhastasna : 
  • In continuous movement bend forward from the hip.
  • Bring the hand toward the floor on either side of the feet and try to touch your forehead with your knee.
  • Legs should remain straight focus your awareness at the pelvis.
  • Breathing pattern: Exhale bending forward try to contact the abdomen in the final position to expel more air from the lungs .
Position 4.
Ashwa Sanchalasna :
  • Keep both hands in place on either side of the feet bend the left knee .while extending the right back as far as possible.
  • The right toes are tucked under and the knee is touching the floor.
  • Bring your pelvis forward arch the spine and lookup.
  • The fingertips touch the floor and balance your body.
  • Focus your awareness at the eyebrow center.
  • You should feel stretch from thigh move upward along the front of body all the way to the eyebrow center.
  • Breathing pattern: Inhale while bringing chest forward 
Postion 5.



Parvatasna :
  • Bring palm to floor .Take left foot back and place it beside right. 
  • Simultaneously raise the buttocks and lower the head between the arms so that body forms the triangle with the floor.
  • The legs and arms should be straight the final position Aim to press the heal down to the floor but not strain.
  • Bend the head forward as far as possible so that the eyes can look to at the knees. Focus your awareness at the neck area.
  • Breathing: Exhale while taking left leg back
Position 6.
Astang Namaskar :
  • Lower the knees to the floor then bring the chest and chin to the floor keep the buttocks elevated the hand knee, chin and toes touch the floor and spine is arched.
Position 7.

Pravart ASNA :
  • Keep arm and legs straight while pivoting from shoulder raise the buttocks and bring the head down to reassume the position . The hand and feet do not move from position. 
  • Raise the buttocks and lower the heel to the floor.
  • Breathing: Exhale while raising the buttocks.

  • At least 2 to 3 daily 
  • If you exhaust then don't do 
Best Time : The ideal time to practice Surya namaskar is at sunrise the most peaceful day

New Delhi: Actor Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek have tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday evening. Senior Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai was complaining of breathing problems. He confirmed the same in a tweet.
“I have tested COVID positive, shifted to hospital, hospital informing authorities, family and staff have undergone tests , results awaited. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested," he wrote.

News of son Abhishek testing positive followed soon after.
The 77-year old senior actor was last seen in Shoojit Sarkar’s comedy-drama Gulabo Sitabo that released on Amazon Prime Video. Two films, Jhund and Chehre are ready for release while he is yet to complete Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
